PNP PARTNERS WITH TESDA

/ 4 October 2023

THE Philippine National Police partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority to enhance the skills and capabilities of police personnel.

Officials of the PNP and TESDA signed a Memorandum of Agreement to formalize the partnership.

“This Memorandum of Agreement brings skills training and trainers’ development to the uniformed personnel of the PNP, and TESDA has tapped the service of the uniformed personnel to bring community-based training to far-flung areas, implementing skilled training for indigenous peoples, former rebels, other community members, and their families,” TESDA Director General Suharto Mangudadatu said.

“The PNP has also been sharing their resources, values, and other logistical facilities to conduct community-based skills training. As a result, our programs have been able to reach learners,” he added.

TESDA, he said, provided training for the beneficiaries of uniformed personnel killed on duty.

PNP chief PGen Benjamin Acorda Jr. thanked Mangudadatu for his support of the PNP.
