THE CITY government of Manila on Wednesday announced the suspension of classes on October 31.

“Kanselado na po ang lahat ng klase sa lahat ng antas (Kinder, Grade School, High School, Senior High, College, Grad School) sa October 31,” Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso said.

“Para po makasama ninyo ang mga mahal ninyo sa buhay sa araw na iyon,” he added.

The class suspension covers public and private schools.

Meanwhile, the Malate Catholic School in Manila will impose an eight-day academic break to allow its students to rest from online classes and activities. It will suspend  synchronous and asynchronous classes from November 3 to 11.
