THE CITY government of Makati launched a mobile library at the Makati Elementary School to make learning materials more accessible.

Makati Mayor Mar-len Abigail Binay said that the project aims to inspire the youth to love reading and learning.

“The Makati Mobile Library is a testament to our commitment to providing quality education in the city. By making books and educational materials easily accessible, we hope to inspire a love for reading and learning,” Binay said.

“We want to make sure that all our students are equipped with the right basic knowledge before proceeding to the next grade level,” she added.

Teachers and volunteers will be stationed at the mobile library to assist students of the city.

A rotating schedule will be adopted to ensure that all residents will have access to the library.
