A LUCKY student in Cebu got to visit South Korea with Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio, as one of the beneficiaries of the Office of the Vice President’s ‘You can be VP’ program.

Kester, a Grade 4 student of the Melecio Tito Elementary School in Danao City, Cebu, was the third participant of the program.

He joined Duterte-Carpio in several important meetings that she attended, including the Global Education Innovation Summit 2023.

‘You Can Be VP’ aims to give students the opportunity to see what Duterte-Carpion does as Vice President.

“Nais ng special project na ‘You Can be VP’ na mabigyan ng halaga ng mga kabataan ang edukasyon, magpursige silang isakatuparan ang kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay, at linangin ang kanilang leadership skills,” Duterte-Carpio said.
