THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that over 13 million students have enrolled for the next school year.

DepEd reported that the total number of enrollees reached 13,152,065 since the registration officially began more than a week ago.

Of the number, 870,914 were enrolled in kindergarten, 6,118,690 in elementary, 4,221,840 in junior high school and 1,940,621 in senior high school.

With over 1.9 million students enrolled, Calabarzon was the region with the most students, followed by the National Capital Region with 1.6 million and Central Luzon with 1.3 million.

Enrollment will end on August 22.

There are three methods of enrollment— in-person, remotely and through drop boxes in schools or barangay halls.
