THE ENROLLMENT of students in public schools started on Monday, July 25.

The Department of Education once again allowed in-person enrollment but students and their parents and guardians can also register remotely.

Those who will enroll physically in schools are required to follow health protocols.

The DepEd issued Order No. 035, series of 2022, or the Guidelines on Enrollment for School Year 2022-2023 in the Context of Re-introduction of In-Person Classes.

“These guidelines seek to ensure continued access to learning opportunities through the conduct of an enrollment process that is efficient, safe, and in line with minimum health and safety standards,” the order stated.

The guidelines will also strengthen reporting systems, the Enhanced Basic Education Enrollment Form and Learner Information System encoding.
