SCHOOL Year 2020-2021 was a success, as far as the Department of Education office in Mandaue City is concerned.

“For me, the School  Year 2020-2021 is successful because we have really continued upholding our school children, our learners with their education,” Dr. Nimfa Bongo, DepEd Mandaue Superintendent, said.

She said that the department implemented novel measures to help children continue with their learning.

Bongo said that some teachers visited students without connectivity in their homes to share their hotspots to ensure that they could participate in online activities.

She added that 95 percent of students submitted their outputs and received their modules on time.

DepEd Mandaue had 66,000 enrollees this school year.
