THE DEPARTMENT of Education has started the early registration for School Year 2023-2024 for incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, 7 and 11 pupils.

The registration began on May 10 and will end on June 9.

In a recently issued order, DepEd said that all incoming students who will be enrolled in the mentioned grade levels are encouraged to pre-register or join the early registration to give the department the opportunity to make the necessary preparations and adjust plans for the coming school year.

Grades 2-6, 8-10 and 12 are considered pre-registered.

The department said that face-to-face transactions will be used to collect forms for early registration, but schools may use other methods for the collection of forms.

In addition, the policy mandates all public elementary and secondary schools to update or encode daily the Early Registration facility in the Learner Information System using the school head or administrator account.

DepEd also encouraged private schools to conduct pre-registration on the same dates.
