THE DEPARTMENT of Education has allowed the holding of physical graduation rites in schools located in areas under Covid19 Alert Levels 1 and 2.

“Ito po ang proposal ng CI (curriculum and instruction) para sa magaganap na pagtatapos. So, magkakaroon po tayo ng limited F to F or pinapahintulutan po natin ang limited F to F ceremony, lalong-lalo na doon sa mga nasa Alert Levels 1 at 2,” Education Assistant Secretary Alma Ruby Torio said in a news briefing on Friday.

Schools in areas under Alert Levels 3, 4 and 5 will conduct virtual graduation rites.

Torio said that the end-of-school-year ceremonies for the K to 12 program will be held between June 27 and July 2. School Year 2021-2022 will end on June 24.

The proposed theme for this year’s graduation rites is: K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity.
