ACTRC COMMITTED TO HELP ENHANCE PH EDUCATION

/ 1 July 2022

THE ASSESSMENT, Curriculum and Technology Research Centre vowed to continue its commitment to enhance the Philippine education system.

Philippine Director of ACTRC Marie Therese Bustos said that there is “still much work to be done” in the country’s education system.

“ACTRC will continue its efforts to enhance the education system in the Philippines so that Filipino learners and educators can realize their full potential. We believe in the talents of Filipinos,” she said.

“We just need to help in the honing of these skills and to show them how to use it to better their lives and society, in general,” Bustos added.

For the past 10 years, ACTRC has been making long lasting contributions to the education sector.

The organization is represented on a number of expert committees and working groups associated with the K to 12 Basic Education reforms.

To ensure that soft skills are incorporated into the K to 12 education reform agenda, ACTRC collaborated with DepEd on a 21st Century Skills Assessment Framework and related tools.
