/ 8 February 2023

NINETY-THREE policemen from the five police districts in the National Capital Region Police Office and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion have completed their training on Tactical Motorcycle Rider Course.

The 42-day training developed the skills of the participants in techniques and procedures in countering the alarming surge of crimes involving motorcycle-riding suspects and other street crimes.

The training was facilitated under the supervision of Col. Julius Guadamor, head of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division.

The participants were trained on Motorcycle Riding Skills, Basic and Tactical Mobile Traffic Law Enforcement and Confidence Motorcycle Riding.

Police Major General Jonnel Estomo, in his message read by Brigadier General Jack Wanky, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, said skills training is an added tool in crime prevention.

“Training is an opportunity to gain learning but more than that, it further enhances one’s aptitude and promote one’s expertise,” he said.
