SOME 80,000 public school students from Kinder to Grade 6 in Valenzuela City have been provided school uniforms and school supplies in time for the opening of the new school year.

The local government unit also provided these items to Alternative Learning System and SPED.

The local government ensured that the kinder to elementary students of 42 public schools are all set by providing free school uniforms and school kits beforehand.

Each student will receive two sets of school uniforms and a school kit of their corresponding grade level.

Alongside, the total budget allocation of the city government amounted to P100 million for school kits and P77 million for school uniforms.

The distribution started last July 16 and will end on July 27.

“Prioritizing the needs of every Valenzuelano student for comfortable and efficient learning, the City of Valenzuela ensures that quality education is made accessible and that no children will ever be left behind,” LGU said.
