3 AGENCIES TO HOLD SECOND LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

/ 12 June 2021

THE ABOITIZ Group, Development Academy of the Philippines-Graduate School of Public and Development Management, and National Union of Career Executive Service Officers, Inc. invited senior government officials to participate in the second Executive Course on Leadership, Innovation, Communication, and Knowledge Management training program.

The 53-hour CLICK2 executive certificate course will cover six modules. Classes will be held virtually from July 7 to August 18, 2021.

The course aims to equip senior government officials with holistic leadership and management skills to cope with changing demands in the workplace.

“We are grateful to have the support of all our partners from NUCESO and DAP once again as we bring back the CLICK program. The positive response from participants of our initial run has been truly encouraging and we want to take the opportunity to extend the executive course to more CESOs and government leaders,” Aboitiz Group President and CEO Sabin Aboitiz said.

As the official private sector partner of the executive course, the Aboitiz Group will provide resource persons who will share best practices in various areas of management, digital transformation, and Public-Private Partnerships.

“This is an important advocacy for Aboitiz because we all need to come together to help build and strengthen our leaders, present and future and from across sectors, especially now when it’s all hands on deck to manage and overcome this pandemic,” Aboitiz said.

Participants are expected to integrate all their key learnings into their individual policy foresight papers that  are applicable to  their respective agencies.

“The CLICK program is one of the newest and most innovative programs of the DAP Graduate School developed exclusively for senior officials of government. They are the key decision-makers of their agencies, so they have the power and the unique opportunity to influence change,” DAP Graduate School Dean Dr. Lizan Perante-Calina said.

She shared that the program curriculum has “strong focus on public governance, futures thinking and strategic foresight.”

NUCESO President Lynn Danao-Moreno said the program can benefit the participating co-learners not only through skill and competency building, but also by providing a venue to forge connections with their contemporaries in the private and public sector.

“Participants will gain access to a network of fellow public servants and thought leaders in the private sector while being exposed to relevant and insightful discourse in the virtual space provided by CLICK,” Danao-Moreno said.
