2,121 PASS LICENSURE EXAMS FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission said that 2,121 out of 3,780 examinees passed the licensure examination for mechanical engineers.
Mark Anthony Salazar Arcayan of the Visayas State University-Baybay topped the exam with a rating of 96.60 percent.
Mark Allen Gabutero Armerion from the University of Cebu came in second with 95.70 percent, followed by Charls Ledcel Umali Felices of Adamson University with 84.20.
The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage are the Bohol Island University in Tagbilaran (90.70); Batangas State University-Alangilan (89.20); and Sorsogon State College (81.36).
Meanwhile, 52 out of the 95 examinees also passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination.
Algier Rene Hubilla Sarte of Rizal Technological University topped the tests for CPLME with 89.25.
The exams were given by three members of Board of Mechanical Engineering, including chairman Engr. Leandro Conti, PRC said.
