THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that the number of enrollees for School Year 2022-2023 continues to increase.

As of 7 a.m. on August 1, 11,663,325 students have registered, data from the DepEd’s Learner Information System showed.

The enrollment period will end on August 22.

The DepEd gave learners and their parents or guardians three enrollment options — in-person, remote and via dropbox.

Students in the Alternative Learning System may enroll online or in person.

Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio said that schools are “all set” for the next academic year.

Duterte-Carpio required schools to hold face-to-face classes five days a week beginning November 2022.
