THE CAMP of presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo apologized for the violations of health protocols that attended her “Pink Sunday” campaign rally at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
THE CAMP of presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo apologized for the violations of health protocols that attended her “Pink Sunday” campaign rally at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
Robredo’s spokesman Atty. Barry Gutierez said that the Robredo camp takes full responsibility for what happened and vowed to ensure stricter compliance with health guidelines in their next sorties.
The Quezon City government called out Robredo’s team for violating protocols.
“We acknowledge the concerns…extend our thanks for its [QC LGU] vigilance, and take full responsibility. While the organizers ensured that access to the immediate vicinity of the program proper was limited and that all attendees were advised to bring vaccination cards and observe health protocols, the sheer number of people that arrived was a challenge, for which we apologize,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
“Rest assured the campaign is taking steps to ensure stricter compliance with all applicable regulations moving forward,” he added.
Around 20,000 individuals attended the rally on Sunday.
