SEVERAL universities and colleges across the country tied up with media network ABS-CBN for the coverage of the 2022 elections.

Representatives from different institutions met virtually on January 17 to sign a manifesto.

The schools that forged a partnership with the network include the Biliran Province State University, Bulacan State University, Cavite State University, Far Eastern University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of the Philippines and STI.

BipSU said that the partnership aims to promote peaceful, honest and safe conduct of the elections.

“As a higher institution of learning and part of our social responsibility to the public, we forge another partnership with ABS-CBN, not just in providing relevant and truthful information, but also on educating the public on their role in the electoral process,” the university said on its Facebook page.

It added that upholding the sanctity of the election process will encourage students to exercise their right to be responsible Filipino citizens.
