COMMISSION on Elections Commissioner Rowena Guanzon fired another salvo a day before officially stepping down from her post by accusing a senator of meddling in the disqualification case against Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

She did not name the senator but said that he is from Davao.

Guanzon will retire on February 2.

She said that she will reveal the name of the senator to a “person in authority.”

There are two senators from Davao: Christoper “Bong” Go and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

Guanzon said that the wife of the senator already knows about the delaying of the decision.

“His wife is already angry at him. It’s already viral. So that’s his problem. Let us focus on Bongbong Marcos as a weak leader… [and his] moral turpitude,” she said.

Guanzon earlier accused her fellow commissioner Aimee Ferolino, the ponente of the case, of delaying the resolution of the case.
