UP MANILA GRADUATE TOPS PHYSICAL THERAPIST LICENSURE EXAM

A GRADUATE of the University of the Philippines Manila topped the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.

Jean Ella Marie Taruc Razon led the successful examinees with a rating of 88.05 percent.

She was followed by Kevin Anthony Gutierrez Patron of the De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institution with a score of 88 percent.

Tied at third place were University of Santo Tomas graduates Yuji Uy Espejo and Krisma Shantal Guianio Ponsaran with a rating of 87.55.

The PRC said 564 out of 1,032 examinees passed the test held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Pampanga.

UP Manila remains the top performing school with a passing rate of 92.86%, or 26 of its 28 examinees.

It was followed by Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila with 92%; Silliman University with 85%; and Cebu Doctors University with 83.33%.

Meanwhile, 88 out of 247 examinees passed the occupational therapist licensure exam.

The topnotcher was Anne Marydon Vera Lariosa of UST, with a score of 81%.

Bryan Daneal Arcenas Geguiento from Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila came in second with a score of 80%.
