A GRADUATE of the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the licensure examination for food technologists given this month by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Dominic Castro Panaligan placed first with a score of 87.25 percent.

Ma. Christina Romabiles Ilano of UP Los Baños and Jose Gabriel Lugue Luna of UP Diliman tied for second place with a rating of 86.75 percent.

The PRC said that 453 out of 1,133 examinees passed the exam held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, and Zamboanga.

UP Diliman was also named the top performing school with a 100 percent passing rate as all its 75 takers made the mark.

UP Los Baños ranked second with 92.86 percent, while UP Mindanao secured the third spot with 83.33 percent.
