TO BOOST its internalization efforts, the University of the Visayas has signed a partnership agreement with the Binh Duong Economics and Technology University of Vietnam.

The agreement covers joint research, faculty and student exchange programs, workshops and seminars.

UV said the collaboration marks a “momentous occasion for both institutions.”

“As we navigate through these challenging times, it is more important than ever to strengthen our connections with other academic institutions across the globe,” it said.

“Through this partnership, we aim to build more diverse and inclusive academic community that fosters innovation and growth,” it added.

The collaboration is expected to bring numerous benefits to faculty, students and researchers.

“Our institutions share a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service, and we are excited to work together towards achieving our shared goals,” the university said.

“We extend our warmest welcome to BETU and we look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration. Together, we can create a brighter future for our students, our communities, and the world,” it added.
