THE University of Southeastern Philippines Board of Regents named Dr. Bonifacio Gabales as its new president.

He will succeed Dr. Lourdes Generalao whose two four-year terms will end on November 11, 2023.

Gabales will assume his new post on November 12, 2023.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education in 1996 at the Mindanao State University.

In 2002, he graduated from De La Salle University’s Institute of Research and Statistics with a Master of Science in Educational Measurement and Evaluation. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Development Research and Administration in 2010 at USeP.

“One of Dr. Gabales’ standout qualities is his dedication to research and data-driven decision-making,” USeP said.

“He has consistently implemented strategic interventions that have driven organizational development and growth. His commitment to the systematic use of data ensures that USeP remains adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of the academic community,” it added.
