UNIVERSITY OF CALOOCAN CITY CLASSES START
CLASSES in the University of Caloocan City started on Monday despite calls to delay the school opening.
The Supreme Student Council earlier asked the school to delay the opening of classes because of the lockdown in Metro Manila but the request was rejected.
Several students aired their frustration with the decision of the university, saying that they were not ready for the opening of the school year.
The SSC said that it will continue to promote students’ welfare despite the rejection.
“With this response from the administration, the [SSC] remains standing in promoting students’ welfare through legal actions prioritizing every students’ struggles in academics. The Council still hopes for a safe starting of classes for our fellow UCCians,” it said.
