UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE ENROLLEES UP 23%
THE UNIVERSITY of Antique has recorded a 23 percent jump in its enrollment rate.
UA said that its enrollees rose from 17,866 to 21,992.
The College of Technology in its main campus has the most number of students — 2,945 — followed by the College of Business and Accountancy with 2,879.
The university said that it made adjustments to cater to its growing population, like hiring more teachers and modifying laboratories.
“The main campus in Sibalom saw a 27.79% increase in the enrollment while the two external campuses namely, Tarlo Lim Memorial Campus and Hamtic Campus increased by 8.37% and 10.22%, respectively,” UA said in a statement.
“Likewise, the extension campuses saw a significant rise in enrollment with the Caluya Extension having 82.14% and Libertad Extension having 5.62% increase,” it added.
