UNIVERSITIES and colleges aired their support for Commission on Higher Education Chairman Prospero De Vera on the implementation of flexible learning.

These schools include the West Visayas State University, Bukidnon State University, Guimaras State College, Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University, Davao del Norte State Collge, Laguna State Polytechnic University, Visayas State University, and Quezon City University.

These institutions share De Vera’s belief that flexible learning is convenient at this time because it lessens the risk of students from contracting Covid19.

De Vera was earlier criticized for declaring that schools cannot go back to the traditional mode of learning.

He asked universities “to spread the good word that flexible learning is the way to go,” as classrooms need to be remodeled to observe minimum health protocols.
