CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar Malapitan unveiled the ongoing construction of the new University of Caloocan campus in Barangay 176, Bagong Silang.

In a Facebook post, Malapitan showed the building nears completion as it needs roofing and finishing touches before the scheduled opening.

Doors, windows, flooring, and paint are yet to be installed as shown by the mayor on Facebook.

Once completed, the new campus is set to house UCC’s College of Engineering and other Business-related courses.

The construction of the campus started June 14 of last year.

The building was a joint effort of the municipality and grocery chain Puregold, which aims to make education more accessible to the public.
