UE PAYS TRIBUTE TO ‘LEGENDARY’ PROFESSOR

/ 14 January 2021

THE UNIVERSITY of the East in Manila has paid tribute to one of its beloved professors who died recently.

In a post, the university extended its condolences to the family of Dr. Regino Robles of the Col-lege of Business Administration who passed away on January 6, 2021.

“Rest in peace, Dr. Regino Robles. Thank you for all of your warrior teaching and care for count-less Business Administration Warriors!” UE said in a Facebook post.

Tributes also poured from his former students.

Fondly called “Sir Handsome,” Robles was remembered as one of the wackiest and kindest pro-fessors. Students described his classes as lively because Robles loved to crack jokes. They said that Robles called  his students “handsome” or “ganda” during class.

“Rest in Peace Sir. One of the best teachers we had????,” a former student said in a comment.

“You’re one of a kind sir. You’re in a better place now. RIP,” another said.

Robles is considered as one of UE CBA Manila’s legendary professors.

He became part of the university in 1999. He taught Human Behavior in Organization, Principles of Management in Organization, Principles of Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Man-agement, and Administrative Management and Automation.

He retired from teaching in May 2020.
