UE ALUMNUS RECEIVES COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD FROM PICPA

AN ALUMNUS of the University of the East was recently conferred the National Community Service Award by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Nard Hartney Molina, a graduate of Business Administration, was recognized for his genuine dedication and selfless service in the promotion of socio-civic projects.

“These activities substantially include his leadership in PICPA-Western Metro Manila Chapter, where he has served as either chairman or co-chairman for Social Involvement for the past five years,” UE said.

“Aside from leading various donation drives, relief efforts and outreach programs within the chapter, he also actively organizes and hosts some of the chapter’s workshops and activities. His social involvement also extends to organizations outside the chapter,” it added.

Molina has also been an active member of various local and international organizations including the World Merit, Merit New York and Merit Philippines, Global Leadership Organization-New York Chapter, the National Youth Commission,  the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange Students and Youths, and the Rotaract Club of Saint Ignatius.

He is currently involved in a number of organizations relating to his profession such as the Philippine Association of Management Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants-Philippines, the National Council of Philippine American Canadian Accountants, and the Association of Filipino American Accountants-New Jersey, where he serves as the executive vice president.
