TUP OKAYS ACADEMIC ‘BREAK’
THE TECHNOLOGICAL University of the Philippines has granted the request of students to ease their academic load.
The school agreed to cease academic activities from December 14 to 16, 2022.
The University Student Government said that the submission of major projects and examinations will be put on hold on these dates.
However, face-to-face and online classes will proceed.
TUP President Dr. Reynaldo P. Ramos and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Dionisio Espression approved the academic break on Monday.
The student group welcomed the announcement.
“Let’s unhand our unfinished projects, activities, exams etc. and just focus to bring yourself a happiness,” TUP USG said.
“Go and participate in different events, surround yourself with your friends and classmates, and visit unique booths. Collecting memories and building relationships are necessary. Treat this as a pause that you deserve!” it added.
