TIP CELEBRATES 59TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
TECHNOLOGICAL Institute of the Philippines President Dr. Elizabeth Quirino-Lahoz assured students that the school will continue to provide the best globally competitive technological education as the institute marked its 59th founding anniversary on February 7.
“To our dear students, no matter the difficulties, allow TIP to give you a better life by empowering you with the best globally competitive technological education. Allow TIP to create that helping path for you so that you may stay ahead during the pandemic and even beyond the pandemic,” she said.
Quirino-Lahoz commended the TIP community for carrying on in the best possible way amid the challenges posed by the pandemic.
“Let us keep together. It takes a certain amount of courage to live our lives now, and it is an amazing feat that we are all able to do so. Give yourself some credit for getting this far despite the obstacles. Let us thank God when we have completed a day. When we wake up the next day, we thank Him once again that we are still here and we are able to do what we need to do,” she said.
She quoted TIP founder Demetrio Quirino Jr., “it is the struggle that counts.”
“And may I add, it counts because it makes you stronger. It will make you appreciate more what you have and you become a walking inspiration to others,” the president said.
