THE TARLAC State University was adjudged the best higher education institution in Central Luzon in the 2023 university rankings by UniRank.

TSU also secured the 22nd spot out of the 232 universities assessed in the country. The school placed 5,226th in the world.

The Central Luzon State University ranked second in the region, while Angeles City Foundation placed third.

Also included in the top 10 HEIs in the region are the Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Bulacan State University, Holy Angel University, Bataan Peninsula State University, Tarlac Agricultural University and University of the Assumption.
