THE SULTAN Kudarat State University-ACCESS Campus is hopeful that it will soon have its own College of Medicine.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Sultan Kudarat has approved the measure endorsing the creation of the college to the House of Representatives.

Under Resolution No. 170-16th SP Series of 2023, the province will ask Congress for appropriate funding for the establishment of the college of medicine.

Governor Datu Pax Ali Sangki Mangudadatu backed the move. He vowed to give the first batch of enrollees full scholarship once the college is operational.

SKSU has received P20 million in funding for the construction of an Academic Building with a laboratory and facilities for its College of Health and Sciences.
