STATEFIELDS SCHOOL VOWS QUALITY EDUCATION AMID THE COVID19 PANDEMIC
THE STATEFIELDS School Inc. in Bacoor, Cavite vowed to continue providing quality education for its students despite the challenges brought by the coronavirus pandemic.
SSI Principal Daniel Castillo said that it is the responsibility of the school to continue education amid the health crisis.
“Education has to continue despite the prevailing pressing and extremely difficult circumstances brought about by the Covid19 pandemic,” Castillo said in an interview with The POST.
SSI has its program ‘Statefields Education Continuum Uplifting Resilience and Education’ that ensures uninterrupted education and at the same time secures the safety of students in conducting online classes.
Castillo said that the school also utilizes Zoom applications and digital books for online learning. It conducted webinars for the teachers and a three-week experience on navigating and maximizing the use of the Learning Management System.
“Online Distance Education in all levels for the entire school year will be facilitated by recognized and reliable Learning Management Systems, making optimum use of digital books for certain subjects, and utilizing the Zoom application and various other resources for online classes, conferences, consultations, and tutorials,” Castillo added.
She said that tuition went down by 15 to 25 percent because not all the facilities of the school will be used.
Classes at SSI started on September 21.
