SOUTHERN LUZON STATE U GETS FUNDING FOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE BUILDING
THE SOUTHERN Luzon State University has been awarded funding for the construction of its College of Medicine building.
A total of P111 million was allocated for the purpose under the General Appropriations Act of 2023 or the national budget.
The funding will help address the shortage of medical professionals and strengthen the healthcare system in the province, SLSU said.
The school thanked the politicians and government officials who worked to provide money that will enable the university to establish its College of Medicine.
The university has been campaigning for the construction of the College of Medicine building since 2021.
The building will house around 10,000 students from different municipalities in Quezon and nearby towns.
