SAMAR STATE U TEACHES ROBOTICS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

STUDENTS of the Eastern Visayas Regional Science High School were given lessons on robotics when they visited the Samar State University.

The students attended a workshop at the SSU-Research and Innovation Center where they learned how to operate devices.

The students were taught Programming Fundamentals and the Basic Fundamental of Embedded Systems.

They joined a hands-on workshop on LED light manipulation with the assistance of Computer Engineering students.

A real-time demonstration of an invention dubbed “Obstacle-Avoiding Car Robot” by Computer Engineers of the Philippines Student Edition – SSU Chapter President Irish Egie Arao was also held.

SSU officials who participated in the event included Alumni Relation Director Maricris Ediza, Maynard Dalemit and Extension Services Executive Director Mirador S. Labrador.
