FOR its outstanding performance, the Samar State University bagged four awards given by the Department of Budget and Management Region VIII.

SSU received the Physical Performance Award for attaining/exceeding the targets for all Performance Indicators in the 2022 General Appropriations Act.

It also got the Physical Performance Achiever award “for achieving 100% actual accomplishment on the indicators.”

The school also secured the “Percentage of undergraduate students enrolled in CHED-identified and RDC-identified priority programs” and “Percentage of undergraduate programs with accreditation” under the FY 2022 General Appropriations Act.”

It also snagged the Income Collection Award “for obtaining an income collection rate of 218.82%, thereby exceeding the target collection in 2022.”

“With the strong support and inspiration from DBM—one of the University’s strong enablers, SSU pledges to ensure the sound use of government funds for its projects and programs for societal development,” the university said.

The awards were conferred during the Agency Performance Review Consultation held last week.
