THE QUEZON City University now offers free tuition for incoming college students.

QCU President Theresita Atienza said that the Commission on Higher Education last year included the university in the roster of colleges and universities that provide free college education in Metro Manila.

The move is part of CHED’s Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education Act, or UniFAST program which provides funding and mechanisms to provide free college education to young people who want to go to college but do not have the financial capability.

In Academic Year 2021-2022, 10,425 college benefited from the program.

Atienza urged Quezon City students to avail of the free tuition the university offers. She added that QCU also provides “top of the line” laptops and pocket Wi-Fi to students.
