THE QS Intelligence Unit’s QS Stars Rating System gave the Bicol University an overall three-star rating.

The three-star rating was given to the university for its “environmental impact and efforts in the community and opportunities it provides for learning and development.”

QS awards a five-star rating if a school meets the employability standard as it measures the graduates’ readiness for work, reputation and employment rate. A four-star rating is given if the criteria for Teaching, Academic Development and Facilities categories are met.

QS takes into account student satisfaction, opportunities and learning environment of the university.

Meanwhile, the BA in Communication category was given two-star rating and one-star for Internationalization category.

QS Stars Rating System is an evaluation on the higher education institutions. It bases its ranking on a range of performance indicators across several categories and pre-established international standards.
