PUP PARTNERS WITH MMDA
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority signed a Memorandum of Agreement to enable employees of the agency to finish their degrees and advance their careers.
MMDA Chairman Romando Artes and PUP president Manuel Muhi signed the MOA on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, qualified MMDA employees can apply for scholarship or study award.
“Through this program, we can give our employees a chance to continue, sustain, and complete their bachelor’s degrees and further advance their careers in the agency,” Artes said.
Muhi thanked the MMDA for trusting them in providing their employees their bachelor’s degree.
“[Thank you for] recognizing the university’s expertise in conducting baccalaureate, post-graduate, and continuing professional development programs,” he said. “These will contribute to the capability and provision of necessary foundation for further professional education and training of the MMDA employees.”
