PUP PARTNERS WITH INT’L INSTITUTE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
THE Open University System of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines has partnered with the International Institute of Knowledge Management to conduct a conference on distance learning.
A total of 150 educators from the Philippines, Malaysia, Nigeria, India, Argentina, Kingdom of Morroco, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates participated in the OUSapin 2024: International Knowledge Exchanges in Open, Flexible and Distance Learning.
The virtual conference aims to provide an avenue for educators, researchers, and practitioners from diverse global backgrounds to exchange innovative ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge research on the field of open and distance education.
During the program, PUP President Dr. Manuel Muhi and TIIKM Co-Founder and Managing Director Isanka Gamage expressed their gratitude for successfully organizing the event and emphasized the importance of such collaborations.
It was followed by a ceremonial signing of a memorandum of agreement of academic partnership to formalize collaborations.
Representatives from PUP, Dr. Joanna Karla C. Bien, the Director of PUP Office of International Affairs, and Ms. Chanika Gunathilake, the Head of TIIKMInternational Relations delivered their respective messages.
