PUP COLLEGE OF LAW RANKS 4TH AMONG TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines (PUP) College of Law ranked fourth among law schools with fewer than 63 examinees at the conclusion of the 2019 Bar Examination results.
The ranking was based on the Legal Education Board and Supreme Court’s statistics which showed PUP had a total of 38 out 60 bar passers, which equates to a total of 63.33 percent passing rate.
Ateneo de Davao University with 88.64 percent passing rate is on top of the ranking, followed by Ateneo de Zamboanga University with 81.82 percent, and Mariano Marcos State University with 73.33 percent.
Of the more than 63 examinees category, University of the Philippines topped the charts with a passing rate of 82.46 percent, followed by Ateneo de Manila University and San Beda University.
The PUP academic organization lauded those who passed the bar exam.
“Congratulations to our 2019 bar passers and the Faculty and Administrators for [the] stellar performance of our Sintang Paaralan in the Bar Examinations. PUP, Pinagpala!,” said the PUP College of Law Research Corps.
Along with the high ranking, the PUP College of Law also stood proud this year after its alumnus, Atty. Jun Dexter Rojas, landed at ninth in the last Bar Exam, the first bar examinee of the institution to land in the Top 10.
