PNU STUDENTS SEEK CANCELLATION OF CLASSES DUE TO COVID SPIKE
THE UNIVERSITY Student Council of the Philippine Normal University sought the temporary cancellation of classes amid the surge in Covid19 cases.
The group said that it received reports that many students have fallen ill.
Some students posted on social media that they have fever, cough, and colds.
The students’ appeal has been sent to the Office of PNU President Bert J. Tuga along with the recommended actions, the USC said.
“The USC is still awaiting the response of the PNU administration,” it said.
The Department of Health on Thursday reported 17,220 new cases of Covid19, bringing the total to 2,888,917.
