PLM VOWS SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS, TEACHERS
THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila will continue to provide laptops and tablets to teachers and students as it pursues its aim to leave no one behind.
Under its proposed 2021 budget, the school will provide tablets to some 12,000 students.
President Emmanuel Leyco said that the university will move forward despite calamities and challenges.
“PLM will proceed just as the whole world is moving to surmount the challenges of the pandemic and natural disasters. No one will be left behind as we will help those who may find it hard to catch up,” Leyco said in a statement.
The faculty and other school officials vowed to serve the community for “effective and relevant education.”
Vice President for Academic Affairs Flordeliza Ferrer said students can consider them as their partners in flexible learning.
Ferrer said that the school has adjusted the academic calendar in accordance with the required number of hours for lessons.
