PISAY STUDENTS AND TEACHERS WIN AWARDS IN 2023 NSPC
STUDENTS and teachers from the Philippine Science High School System won several awards in the National Schools Press Conference held in Cagayan de Oro last week.

Caryl Angela Opulencia of PSHS Calabarzon Region campus placed first in the Pagsulat ng Lathalain category.
Opulencia was coached by Mark John Anthony Revadulla.
Meanwhile, Carlos Manuel Eusoya of the PSHS Western Visayas campus was named the Outstanding Campus Journalist in the secondary level category.
He was coached by his school paper advisers Paz Montero and Roden Pedrejas.
Jamilhy Asombrado of PSHS Zamboanga Peninsula Region campus bagged second place in feature writing category.
Jaydee Darcera served as her school paper adviser.
Also, the PSHS Cagayan Valley school paper “The Pisay Explorer” won fourth place in the Editorial Section.
Heherson Tolentino, who is the school paper adviser, received the award on the school’s behalf.
The school paper adviser of PSHS Central Luzon campus, Harvy Calma, was named as the Outstanding School Paper Adviser.
NSPC is the highest journalism competition for both private and public elementary and secondary schools in the Philippines.
