THE PANGASINAN State University- Bayambang Campus opened its Information and Communication Technologies Konek Learning Hub on Monday, December 7, 2020.

The learning hub was formed in partnership with the local government of Bautista, Pangasinan and Bautista National High School.

The hub will serve PSU students from the town of Baustista.

“The learning hub is located at the Computer Laboratory of Bautista National High School, wherein 32 computers donated by the LGU of Bautista are now ready to use,” PSU said.

“This will help not just the students of PSU-Bayambang, but also the teachers, for they are also greatly affected by this pandemic,” it added.

The launch of the learning hub was attended by various officials including Bautista Vice Mayor Joseph Espino, PSU-Bayambang Extension Coordinator Dr. Gudelia Samson, Dean of College of Nursing Dr. Cielo Fernandez, Department Chair of Social Sciences Department Dr. Cheryl Mendoza, and Principal IV of Bautista National High School Dr. Eduardo Castillo.

Last month, PSU and 22 LGUs collaborated to launch ICT Konek to provide learning space, internet connectivity and computer units to students.
