PANGASINAN STATE U HOLDS ACTIVITIES FOR EMPLOYEES’ WELL-BEING

/ 12 March 2021

A SERIES of activities aimed to boost the well-being of its employees has been rolled out by the Pangasinan State University.

For four weeks in March, the university will hold events to help employees cope with challenges related to the pandemic.

These activities were scheduled on Wednesdays.

“This program which focuses more on wellbeing and wellness, is very helpful to all employees who are stressed and burned out with the current situation at their work and home,” Beverly Fernandez, Campus Guidance Counselor, said.

“Go inside, before going outside. Show up for yourself before you show up to others. So, if you feel stressed or just want to get inside yourself, we are inviting everyone to join us here in the Wellness Wednesdays,” she added.

Activities lined up include breathing exercises and self-affirmation, Christian meditation and mindfulness and journaling.

Another batch of activities called “Tea-talks Tuesdays” will be held in April.

The project was spearheaded by PSU-Lingayen’s Admission and Guidance Office.
