THE NEGROS Oriental State University-Dumaguete acquired android tablets and two air-conditioning units for its library.

Campus Librarian Peter Alos said that students can borrow the tablets while inside the library.

The amount used to purchase the gadgets and the floor-mounted and window-type air-conditioning units came from the University Library Fund.

“This improvement is to help the students with their research work, especially when accessing subscribed e-resources and other online open-access materials,” Alos said.

“These improvements will keep the library not only conducive for learning but also updated with the new trends in technologies,” he added.
