NAMEI GETS ISO CERTIFICATION

NAMEI (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Institute) Polytechnic Institute announced that it passed the International Organization for Standardization Certification Audit, proving its commitment to provide quality education for its students.

“The ISO certification is a notable accomplishment for NAMEI. It has strengthened the institution’s adherence to innovative and relevant education. It has driven the academe even more to continue showcasing international-level performance as well as extending maritime education to learners from all walks of life,” Oliver Q. Velasco, Research Head of Maritime, said.

World-leading certification body Det Norske Veritas Germanischer Lloyd (DNV GL) awarded NAMEI the ISO 9001:2015 after conducting an audit on August 3-4, 2020.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Various organizations use the standard to showcase their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is a milestone for NAMEI as the institution continuously pursues academic excellence when it comes to the delivery of superior learning systems.

NAMEI aims to produce competent individuals in the fields of Marine Engineering, Marine Transportation and Naval Architecture.

The school was one of the institutions acquired by STI Education Services Group, Inc.
