THE MARIANO Marcos State University achieved a 100-percent passing rate in the March 2021 Physician Licensure Examination.
One of its graduates, Jaymee Borja Quindara, landed in the top 10. She got a passing rate of 86.92, landing on the ninth place.
All five MMSU graduates passed the PLE. The others were Aileen Concepcion Agustin, Charis Vina Keith, Jonathan Lim and Elma Flor Lucero.
MMSU President Dr. Shirley Agrupis congratulated the passers, the second batch of pioneers of the MMSU College of Medicine.
In November 2020, all the seven pioneer medical graduates of MMSU passed the PLE.
“This feat is another feather in the cap of the university. Maintaining the same performance in future PLE is a great task, considering the challenges of the new normal mode of learning and training, along with the changing line of technology,” Dr. Ricardo Guanzon, COM dean, said.
The Professional Regulation Commission released the list of passers and performance of schools on March 19, 2021.
Of the 1,927 examinees, 1,234 passed.
