MAJORITY OF JRU COLLEGE STUDENTS VACCINATED

/ 21 November 2021

MAJORITY of Jose Rizal University college students had been vaccinated against Covid19.

As per a survey done by the school on Friday, around 63.8 percent of its eligible college students are already fully vaccinated.

The other 13.5 percent, on the other hand, have received their first dose, while the rest or about 22.6 percent have yet to receive a jab.

The Mandaluyong-based university resumes the conduct of limited face-to-face classes in its campus grounds after receiving the nod from the Commission on Higher Education.

CHED said schools must have a high vaccination rate among students and teachers, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the concerned local government unit to conduct classes.

Meanwhile, the Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 allowed schools to conduct limited face-to-face classes in areas under Alert Levels 1, 2, and 3 for all courses.
